One Lucky Momma...

...if we have met, you know that I find parenthood to be wonderful, challenging, loving, difficult, fun, exciting and the best job ever. I am always happy to share my girlies with everyone, but I always make sure I get the snuggles, the kisses, the smiles, the learning and the love myself.
Not everyone gets to see these wonderful events, but they happen on a daily basis when my lap, snuggles, kisses and hugs are fought over. My girls make me feel like a one of a kind. They are both one of a kinds to me too!
I love them forever and for always....
To my girls! Love, Mommy!

9 Months Old

Time is flying by and our sweet little Adelaide Janette is growing up quite fast. She is acclimating to being a younger sister, but she is not taking it sitting down. She is an active player in battles & debates. Her opinion is heard by all. Adelaide is vocal and outgoing.
She not only uses her voice to fight back, but to sing along with music and have conversations. Adelaide especially loves to dance and smile great big smiles for her audience. She is a flirt and quite outgoing. I can see she not only looks a lot like her big sister, but acts quite a bit like her as well.
Adelaide started crawling this last month, but still prefers to be carried if she can get away with it (by screaming loud enough so we notice). She is a big cuddlier and squeezer. Her trick is to give mommy a "big squeeze" whenever I ask for one. She has also begun to clap when we say "Yeah".
She loves all kinds of food and I see myself being much more lenient with her diet than I was with Isabelle's. Adelaide has tried homemade zucchini bread, pancakes, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, but prefers to be feed more than anything - it just gets to her mouth faster.
Adelaide is growing quite well and tops the charts at

21 pounds, 11 ounces and
29 1/2 inches tall

We have healthy, loving, outgoing, beautiful babies! We are so very blessed. Thank you sweet baby girls for each and everyday.
Love, Mommy & Daddy

Kansas City & Hereford Trip

Summer 2012

- I just wrote this awesome little blurb about how much we miss and love everyone, then blogspot deleted it, I'm annoyed......I'll try again, sigh -

Every year, the girls and I are blessed to be able and make at least one trip a year to each of Andrew & my hometown to see our family.

- no, I cannot, I'm too annoyed and tired and I already wrote something that was worded perfectly. Sorry, you don't all get to read it, but it was meaningful and heartfelt. It pointed out how well our little girls are loved and how much they enjoy it and love you all. -

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful & loving family. Here are a few photos from our adventures this June & July.

"Florer Girhl, Wednin Nih an Tara"

Last Month, we made another trip back to Kansas City for my wonderful Brother's Wedding! Isabelle was thrilled to go back to Kansas City (and soak up the attention of her extended family). She was so excited to be the "Florer Girhl, Wednin Nih an Tara" and she told everyone she met who would then look straight at me to ask for confirmation of what she was say. Yes, Isabelle is going to be the Flower Girl at her Uncle Nick & Cara's Wedding. As her parents, Andrew & I had the pleasure of reading the same flower girl book to her for the two months prior.

Isabelle was ecstatic to say the least and thanks to her wonderful Cousin, Beau, she made it down the aisle and even hugged Uncle Nick upon arriving at the front of the Alter. She looked a little lost then turned around and found her seat next to me. After arriving at her seat she looked up to the Alter and exclaimed quite loudly, "Oh, Daddy", who was standing as a groomsmen with Nick.

The Ceremony, the Bride & Groom, it was all SO BEAUTIFUL! So wonderful to be a part of and I am still beyond thrilled that my brother has met the woman of his dreams to spend the rest of his life with! Congratulations to the two of you! You are a very dapper couple!!!

Love, Love, Love,
