Travels....

As many of you may have known we've been traveling quite a bit! First New Jersey & New York with a straight drive through the night back to Kansas City. Yes, we drove 20 hours straight. We are very goal oriented people, if you may not have already guessed.
We stayed in Kansas City for 4 days and had a busy weekend. We had dinners with my parents and finally saw "Twilight"! Although I fully over analyzed and had to re-watch it just to make myself feel better, it was a lot of fun having time to spend with my parents! We also got to celebrate a laid back fathers day for Andrew, my dad & my grandpa!! Busy father's day, but lots of fun. Breakfast at the Corner Cafe for my dad, Lunch & a movie for Grandpa and a relaxing evening with Andrew to prepare for parenthood.... Finally, prior to leaving, WE GOT TO MEET OUR SWEET LITTLE BABY!!! 21 Weeks old and counting...a mover and a wiggler, baby gave away nothing, but had perfect spine, stomach, heart, kidneys, feet and hands!!! We have multiple pictures and the doctor told us the baby was nearly a pound and 11 inches!!! WOW! We think we heard her correctly!!!!
So following our exciting news and time together with baby, we took a trip down to Hereford!!! Andrew and Eric spent some quality time together building a pool and playing with the dogs. Lots of fun family time together!!! We got to see lots of family and attend a beautiful wedding. The bride and groom actually left in a helicopter!! Seriously, how do you one up that one? We had a great time and I know everyone is excited to see me come back through in a month or so when we're done visiting Phoenix!! :o)
Leading me to our final destination: PHOENIX!!!! We'll keep you updated on our status here, but let us know if you're around! We'll be here the whole month!!!
Love you all, A,K,O&C

20 Weeks!

We are officially halfway through the pregnancy!! I still feel absolutely amazing and I am happy to report I am getting a pudge and not trying to prevent it from getting larger. In a word, I would describe my current state of being as "THICK". I do not necessarily have a baby bump, but a thick waist. And I mean very thick. Andrew is being a good sport, putting up with all the ups and downs of my moods and my planning.
Unfortunately, my planning is not going far due to the fact that we do not know where this baby will be born, nor where we will be creating a baby room and on top of that how this little wonderful bundle of love will affect our lives! We will not know where we will be living until September at the earliest, but we're taking this in strides. No worries to all of those who are, I am very laid back about the delivery of our baby and I am not worrying about the personal relationship that I may or may not have with the doctor. We are simply worried about the health of our baby and making sure the three of us can be together when he/she is born! Our baby room will hopefully begin developing in August! We are going to head down to Chandler & Gilbert, Arizona at the end of June to begin our house hunt! We are very excited to find a home that we can call our own and live in during the off-season and in the future! Think good happy home thoughts for us in July and if you happen to be one of our many friends who lives in Arizona, look out here we come!!!
More currently, we will be getting to see baby on Tuesday, June 23rd for our second measurement and viewing needs! We hope to see that our wonderful baby is perfectly healthy and happy! We'll have photos, so remember to ask if we're not already passing them around!!!

We really would like to thank our family for all of their support during these ever changing times in our lives and we are so excited to have all of you to love and support us in the future!!! Love you all, A&K

Back Together at Last!!!

Missing Seattle!

While away from my wonderful husband, my mother and I decided to take a trip to visit my grandmother or my mummums, Uncle Pete & Aunt Lori and their little boy David. We had a wonderful time seeing everyone and celebrating the new addition that will soon be coming to the family -> Andrew & my baby of course! We were able to spend time shopping, checking out the market, taking a ferry ride, visiting Friday Harbor and catching up. The time was nice and the weather was amazing! I also got to spend sometime with some of my good friends from Phoenix....how were their so many of us in Seattle? Gotta love making new memories in new places!
Andrew has decided he wants to try to make a visit in the spring time and I am all for it! He has never been to Seattle and I'm always looking for excuses to visit!!!

New Jersey....

Well, New Jersey is a lot different than what I had pictured. From the apartment, we look into a cemetery where I am fairly confident I saw someone dig up a grave...no not dig one, because they filled it up when they were done. Our apartment is HUGE! We have a full kitchen, a deck space and lots of room. No roommate while I was in town, but hopefully Andrew will have someone to hang out with soon, or I'm going to have to come back much earlier than expected. All is well with Football, but not much else going on. We spent some time in Manhattan on Friday. We had a lovely day walking around some of the neighborhoods, seeing the site of the World Trade Center, and had an amazing dinner with all of my bestest high school friends!!! I'm headed back to be with the family and puppies for a few days before I head for Seattle to visit my grandmother & more family!
 Pregnancy Ticker
On another note, I have developed a very small bump of a belly that i cannot hold in anymore and I commonly refer to myself as a marshmallow. Andrew calls me muffin top to annoy me, because it looks nothing like a muffin top...it's a belly.
We miss & love you all! Love, A&K

we got "A SAM!"

We are packed and ready for storage.....Andrew had a week off and was able to come see all the great work I did packing. So I also let him move all the boxes into our storage box! So fun! Thanks to my dad & Karen for helping pack and my mom & brother for helping us load up the storage box. Couldn't have done it without you. Now we are all ready to store our things and head down to Phoenix in a month to look for our NEW HOME!!! Hopefully we'll be successful, otherwise we have a lot of stuff stored for, well, no where?

All is well in our world right now. Baby is healthy and we have our second ultrasound June 1st (Happy Birthday Sally!). Andrew will be training in New Jersey until June 18th and I'll get to visit him a few times, but in between visits Oscar, Copper and I will be living it up with my parents! And as my brother, Nick, so fondly puts it, I am partially employed, pregnant and living with my parents. Oh well, I'm happy!
So excited to see all my New York Friends the week of May 10th, Kari & Erin May 23rd and all my Phoenix Friends June 25th(ish)!!!! Love you all and our prayers are with you!!! Love, Andrew, Kat, Baby, Oscar & Copper
